History

Steuben Foods is part of an 85 year old group of privately held food and beverage companies with its Corporate Offices and Technical Center located in New York City.

Steuben Foods was founded in 1983 with a total focus on aseptic low acid and extended shelf life beverages and foods. With our various patents, we have consistently been on the leading edge of new aseptic technologies.

Steuben Foods’ manufacturing facility, situated in Elma, New York (suburban Buffalo) was established in 1985. Located on a 150 acre site, we have continually expanded the facility and upgraded our equipment to serve our rapidly growing market. Our established infrastructure and site will enable us to quickly expand to meet our customers’ growing needs.

We are very proud of our plant and our associates who operate the facility. Steuben Foods was thus honored to have received an award as Food Engineering’s New Food Plant of the Year. Steuben Foods will continue to invest in our plant, our systems and our people, to maintain—and enhance--our reputation as the premier strategic partner in developing and manufacturing low acid aseptic food and beverage products.
